Robotic Bronchoscopy Excellence at Adventist Health Glendale

Our first Lunch & Learn of the year was robustly attended in spite of the heaviest rainstorm of the season. Generously sponsored by Massage Envy, the event included a fascinating presentation by Ramyar Mahdavi, MD, discussing the latest in interventional pulmonology, critical care and early detection of lung cancer. Dr. Mahdavi is a pioneer in interventional pulmonology. He shared his experience in utilizing previous generations of robotic bronchoscopy technology over the years, and said that he now “has everything he needs, if not better, at Adventist Health Glendale.” Dr. Mahdavi illustrated several ways that pulmonology care is more advanced than ever. In practice for nearly 30 years, Dr. Mahdavi specializes in adult patients for issues such as airway diseases, severe emphysema and lung cancer.
