Focus Your Impact
It is such an exciting time to focus your passion for improving our community’s health and your philanthropic priorities. In addition to the work that our local hospitals do every day, philanthropy can enhance and in some cases sustain the Adventist Health programs that focus on our mission: Living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.
Enhancing Outstanding Cath Lab Services Catheterization Laboratories (Cath Labs)
The catheterization labs at Adventist Health Glendale are the second largest in Los Angeles County and continue to gain both national and local recognition for quality and excellence. Additionally, we are continually adding new and cutting-edge cardiac procedures and the latest in neurological procedures for stroke. We were recently one of four Southland hospitals to complete a TriClip heart procedure!
Philanthropic investments are essential to expanding our neurological, cardiac and other life-saving services and procedures to more people in need outside the traditional boundaries of our community.
Enhancing and renovating our existing catheterization labs will provide patients with the latest in diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures, such as angiography and stenting, to more accurately and efficiently diagnose and treat a multitude of medical conditions stemming from blocked arteries and blood vessels in both the heart and brain.
Enhancing the Surgery Pavilion Operating Rooms/Surgery Pavilion
Adventist Health Glendale’s ability to grow and help save more lives is tied directly to the number of operating rooms we have available for life-saving procedures. Adding new operating rooms for standard elective and emergency procedures with state-of-the-art equipment will help us continue to provide patients with the latest in traditional, robotic, minimally invasive and outpatient procedures.
Inspiring Hope with Breast Cancer Services The Sam and Grace Carvajal Comprehensive Breast Center: Bhupesh and Kumud Parikh Breast Diagnostic Center and Tufenkian Family Breast Cancer Survivorship Program Endowment
Cancer treatment poses several hardships for individuals. In addition to the apprehension and ambiguity associated with a cancer diagnosis, they may experience lowered self-confidence, depression, and feelings of seclusion due to physical changes caused by chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
Through the endowment established by the Tufenkian family in tribute to Savey Tufenkian, breast cancer survivors will receive comprehensive and collaborative psychosocial support services. We aim to provide a complete range of services for all breast cancer survivors with your help.
Our Nursing Investment The Nursing Institute
Celebrating our nurses is understanding how their dedication inspires a generosity of spirit and care. They are the backbone and heart of Adventist Health Glendale, and thanks to nursing excellence, since 2023, we are the first hospital in Glendale to be Magnet designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The Nursing Institute is just one of the Comprehensive Pillars we are focusing on with the goal to support continuing education with the Professional Development Institute, provide leading-edge technology and equipment, and highlight our nursing scientific research and innovation.
Our Magnet journey is one way Adventist Health Glendale invests in our nurses to support professional satisfaction and longevity, and offers our caregivers the very best tools to administer patient satisfaction.
