Congratulations to Dr. Harry Balian and Dr. Amir Solhpour for successfully completing Adventist Health Glendale’s first TriClip heart procedure. The TriClip is a newly approved, life-saving device to repair a leaky tricuspid valve, known as tricuspid regurgitation, a disease in which blood leaks backward through the tricuspid heart valve. We’re proud to be one of only four Southland hospitals to complete TriClip procedures since the device was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in April 2024. The surgeons were assisted by a team of cardiovascular specialty technicians and nurses in Adventist Health Glendale’s award-winning cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cath Lab) acclaimed by Healthgrades as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery.
